So for those of you who haven’t been following me for a long time and to all the wonderful people who have, my blog is supposed to celebrate me finding happiness in my life and its been through both good and bad times. During the happy times, I’m obviously up to date with my queue and my goal of 5 posts a day. I’m sharing good times I’ve had, posting about my favorite shows and all is well. When I’m not, my posts become sporadic, usually randomized with whatever posts I can find and I don’t update you guys on whats going on until I reach this point. Those are the points I feel I need to come clean and have a real chat with you guys.

So real talk. Unlike other times where I can pinpoint whats causing me stress or grief.I have no idea this time. I know some of it is things at work aren’t good mainly because of my own head space. Part of that is due to the fact that I had a week off and then am about a week away from a two week vacation so my focus is out the door, but I’m also having trouble caring. The more I think I’m doing well, I find out I’ve either gone to far or my effort has been a waste so why would I care about what I’m working on. But even still, I’ve had good days, I still like who I work with, but overall I look forward to my end of day where I can forget about it.

Also a huge underlying part but I don’t want to talk about it anymore is the bullshit that was the 2016 election. I’m still not recovered though I want to keep having a voice. But the more I hear the more pissed off I get and its affecting me so I’ve started adding some distance. For a little bit.

Then I’ve also been conflicted about my free time. Going home I got a lot of writing done within a week. Since I’ve been back hardly at all, but instead of writing I’ve rereading all my old stories. And I mean old. I mean stuff I wrote in middle school. So I know it’s my own fault, but that isn’t helping this just “meh” feeling I’ve had.

But like I said this blog is supposed to document all that and after all look where it’s at. 7000 posts and here’s where I’m at. It’s not the best feeling in the world. It’s not the worst but in reality its just life and this is where my head is at. It’s a chilly weekend though so I don’t plan to leave the house tomorrow and maybe I can catch up and find some peace with myself. Then hopefully posts will return at regular speed.
