Well, half a year has gone by. I really haven’t fell like doing much, it feels like it’s been pretty much a crappy year. It has rained so much, at least we haven’t had flooding, so I’m thankful for that. I’ve worked split shifts and longer shifts plus have been helping out in some nonprofit groups.

We did go to Arkansas in the middle of June to Sophie and Chris’s wedding. We were invited to the rehearsal dinner, it was outdoors and it was hotter than usual. The service and cocktails was also outdoors then we were able to move inside for the dinner.

About a week ago the fire alarm went off at work and we all had to evacuate. No fire. Maintenance people were working on something.

We had graduation, it was exciting. They worked so hard to get there!

In between, rain, rain and more rain. I haven’t even gone to the pool. It’s either raining or it’s not warm enough.

Yesterday we were in the Sturgis Falls parade representing the stamp club that David belongs to. Yes, a stamp club. Younger kids don’t even know what a stamp is. I’m not in the club but David wanted me to ride with him. It was boring and I would rather watch the parade but it’s ok.

As a certified registered nurse anesthetist and Officer on the U.S. Army Health Care Team, you'll provide specialized care to patients requiring general anesthesia, respiratory care, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and fluid therapy. Requirements include:

Master's degree in nursing anesthesia, from an accredited program

Must be between 21 and 42 years of age (may request a waiver)

Certified registered nurse anesthetist

Must be a U.S. citizen

Benefits include:

Special Pay depending on the length of your agreement

Health Professions Loan Repayment Program, which can be applied toward qualified nursing school loans

Paid continuing education, including clinical specialization courses

Army reserve certified registered nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

As a certified registered nurse anesthetist and Officer on the U.S. Army Reserve Health Care Team, you can work in your community and serve when needed. Your duties will include managing the care of Soldiers and their Families when they need it most. You'll also work as part of a multidisciplinary team, surrounded by dedicated professionals who share your commitment to caring for our Soldiers and their Families.

Requirements include:

Master's degree in nursing anesthesia

Completion of an accredited course in anesthesiology for nurses

Must be between 21 and 42 years of age (may request a waiver)

Certified registered nurse anesthetist

Permanent U.S. residency

Benefits include:

Special Pay depending on your contract and level of education

Reimbursement of nursing school loans through the Healthcare Professionals Loan Repayment Program
