#6678 Le Fermentor Dimebag Barrel (2020) (Canada) Stout night! This gem of a bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout is cleverly named after the late, famed guitarist Dimebag Darrel from Pantera, and mate, she’s a beaut. Coming in at 10%, it pours lighter than anticipated with a foamy, off white head and a chocolate nose, the body is creamy and smooth with an oaky bourbon hit up front from the Heaven Hill barrels, tons of bitter dark chocolate alongside sticky, silky vanilla vibes, there’s some subtle coffee notes, the booze gets more present as I drink, wrapping in a dry, roasty finish.
