I feel displaced, out of focus, disoriented, and I'm starting to feel dissociative. I don't know what to do it how to fix it. In this moment, I feel blank. Not a void, not depressed, lonely, happy, hungry. Just blank. And tired. Mostly blank. Two weeks here in Colorado have been wonderfully fun at times, but ever since I left Sir in GA, I feel lost. I know it's temporary, but 17 weeks is such a long time. I can't get over this feeling. It's strange and I don't know that I can find a word for it. I know I'm capable of surviving without him, there's no doubt. I don't /need/ him here with me to feel happy or have a good time. But in the same breath, he's home, and I'm incredibly homesick. Who would have thought that I, the girl who dreamed of traveling so she could always feel at home, would inevitably create the opposite scenario? I travel and feel homeless. I travel and feel lost. I travel and I fear losing myself to the every place I go, everyone I meet. I travel and dream of home.
