Soft Rhinealice my beloved
Just made some bullshit yay
when you think your deadly opponent is a chess master but she's actually feeding your pieces to her fat talking cat
Terrible theory incoming
I was discussing elsewhere and we noticed that in ronova's death card, it seemed as if she wanted to abandon her role as a shade, or simply did not care for it
"when she would prefer to embrace the rotting bones of the mortal world"
I would think that ronova might even accept her death And that's why the tsaritsa is not referring to death s a foe, but her actions (killing her) will be helping her
Associating this with Rhine, I think apart from simply avenging khaenri'ah, she intends to devour ronova and assimilate her authority of death with her current authority of life.
The shades according to my theory are meant to balance out in twos, life to death, space to time. When naberius was devoured by rhinedottir the power was given to a human, so she ascended because no human would be allowed to simply have that pwr. (It's also possible not just any human can have it, worthwhile to think about the role of the curse of immortality and if that applies after ascension)
If one of the shades maybe devoured another shade, I theorize that they would have more authority over their first domain. (Ex istaroth devoures asmoday, but afterwards is still stronger with time than space) But rhinedottir, being human would not have that original authority
In that way, hosting both the authorities of life and death will be equal and balance would not be overthrown
In the trailer, the tsaritsa says that death is not her enemy (enemy of love) she might be helping ronova to die and then in return for the power of life, she will give the authority to Rhinedottir
Rhine has previously mentioned that she agrees with the tsaritsa and was reprimanded for it. She also has no reason to be loyal to HP especially for what they did to khaenri'ah ("the heavenly principles has yet to awaken, if I were her, I wouldn't pass on that opportunity either")
Essentially I'm saying the tsaritsa will help ronova die with the power of life (from Rhine) and in exchange give the authority of death to Rhinedottir (by giving rhinedottir ronova's heart for her to devour)
However, why is Rhine making the tsaritsa do the job and not doing it herself? If she's passing her power over then surely she could kill ronova with that pwr. Tbf I don't know
But I was thinking ,, what if ronova doesn't approve of the merge
She acted against the rules before and displeased HP, I doubt she would do it again. If that was the case, perhaps the is being sent as a proxy.
This implies that Rhinedottir has somehow avoided the gaze of the shades during this planning. During the teaser we don't see naberius interfere despite her commonly doing so when Rhine brings up traitorous thoughts
If naberius is not involved as Rhine makes the deal, there's a chance she's found a way to push the shades' observation away from her including ronova's. Perhaps she does this by giving her power away temporarily, or somehow else. I do not know yet
It is worthwhile to note that in this frame she is missing an eye speck, that could be animation or intentional but it happens again in the teaser. Perhaps the tsaritsa's interaction with her is directly after this or durin, but before in this same teaser her eye prong was there
Thank you very much for coming to my convoluted ted talk :)
