Met a guy on a night out (never going to meet my husband on a night out). We swapped numbers and he started messaging me the next day...

And thats all he does. Whats apps me. Sometimes there are 2 week gaps between messages!

At one point in our conversation I told him how busy I was going to be at work for the next couple of months and he said

“Oh, thats a shame I was going to ask if you wanted to go for a drink.”

So he waited until I said how busy I was going to be before even mentioning going out for a drink. MAN THA HELL UP!

He messaged me the other day (2 weeks after the last message) asking how I was. I haven't replied yet. Might wait for 3 weeks till I reply and see how he likes it.

What is this? What am I attracting? What am I doing wrong here?

Someone please help me answer these questions.

Went for a drink with a guy I have known for about 7 years. I didn’t like him like that, but we got on quite well so thought I’d have an open mind and see how the date went.

We met up and it felt quite natural and I felt at ease, until we got on the subject of drugs. I am 100% against any form of drug taking so what he then said to me not only annoyed me but made me roll my eyes.

“I’ve taken pills before, I think you’d like it if you tried it.”

Riiiiiiight. The fact that he said this to me one our 1st date when I said 5 seconds before that I don’t agree with taking drugs and I have no interest in it goes to show he wasn’t quite right for me.

We messaged a couple times after, and he suggested another drink and then never got round to arranging anything and I wasn’t going to chase him.

I’ve since heard from a mutual friend that he is on all the dating apps and is enjoying meeting different girls every week. Good luck to him, them and the drugs.

I went to a networking event for work and I was absolutely knackered and still jet lagged from a holiday I had just got back from.

I noticed a good-looking guy from across the room, we kept catching each others eye and I realised I recognised him. So I went up to him and told him I recognised him.. He remembered me from College! A good 12 years ago! Chatted with him for a minute and I gives me his business card as I could use him for work (I promise!) Here I was thinking I would just leave him to it and go our separate ways but 3 hours later we are still standing there talking/laughing and just getting on like 12 years hadn't passed. He says he wants to take me out for some steak to which I don't hesitate in saying yes. I LOVE STEAK!

A friend of his called him over so I left him to it and I realise its getting late so I make my way to leave and can't find him to say bye, I get to the lobby downstairs and I get a text from an un-known number.

"You haven't left yet have you?"

"Yeah I couldn't find you, I'm in the lobby if you want to come down?"

"I'm coming"

I wait. He appears and we say bye and he gives me the most passionate kiss ever. I was not expecting that! I leave, in shock but feeling very content.

We then arrange to go to get some steak a couple of days later. Then it starts. He cancels on me. 3 times in a row. Why re-arrange with me 3x if he wasn’t into it?!

So I give up. And then a couple of weeks later I see him walking down the street with his very skinny, blonde plain Jane of a girlfriend.
