5000th post!!!
Hello!
So, I have reached 5000 posts on this site. It has again come around quickly, and in the four months I have again seen several films. Obviously the big one was Endgame which - while it was indeed highly emotional, and I cried in some parts - I have mixed feelings about, especially regarding...certain plot points. But I am glad I avoided spoilers for it. I also recently saw Spiderman: Far From Home - an absolutely amazing film with another star turn by Tom Holland.
I have also watched several new TV shows. The big one is, obviously, Good Omens - I loved the book and the TV show was an absolutely stellar adaptation with a brilliant cast, as well as having Queen as part of it's soundtrack. Funny, awesome and heartbreaking at some points, but definitely one of my favourite shows ever made. Kudos to Mr Gaiman and everyone who worked on it!!
Also the TV series of What We Do In the Shadows - I watched a few episodes. Extremely odd, but also funny. Even odder was Year of the Rabbit - both star Matt Berry, who is one of the most eccentric actors I have ever seen, but is also fucking hilarious.
The Drama channel introduced me to another series, Father Brown. I had seen a couple episodes on the BBC before, but it was still good to watch. They only showed a few though, so I decided to buy series 1-4 on DVD (as though I don't have enough already). I am already a fan of Inspector Sullivan (surprise, surprise), and was delighted to find out that his actor once competed in and WON Strictly. I found a playlist of his dances here, which I have gotten about hallway through.
I am starting to do more writing and art. I still procrastinate a lot, but I'm getting there. I had a lot of fun doing a few short stories, and I will also be doing more fanart - more of the Professionals and Blake's 7, but also some Buffy ones planned in the future.
Since April I have again followed several cool blogs, although I did end up unfollowing two after I found out about their extreme anti-abortion stance. I found this very shocking, because it hadn't even occurred to me that I should check - I just saw their fandom posts. So, I am going to say this - I am Pro-Choice!
But aside from that, the rest are cool. I started reading @fialleril's fics on FF and AO3, and I absolutely love their Star Wars stories, especially the world-building for Tattooine, and their Double Agent Vader series. I highly recommend checking them out if you are a Star Wars and Prequels fan.
I also found another Endeavour fan, @arcticelves,  which is brilliant because we are a small fandom and it's always great to find another. A great blog who is also a Ronnie Box fan (there aren't many of us either). There are also two cool Marvel people; @judelaw, whose title is self-explanatory (more Jude Law than Marvel, but they very much enjoyed Captain Marvel and Yon-Rogg), and whose fics on AO3 you should really check out because they are great, and @autistichawkeye, another blog of many fandoms (like me), who I highly recommend following.
An even smaller fandom than Endeavour is The Professionals, but somehow I managed to find two more blogs - @ali15son, who does great fanart, and @residentofthedisc - if there are any Pros fans out there, I suggest following these two.
A great Good Omens blog, @arielsojourner, whose posts I really like and who I also recommend. Non-Fandom wise, I have been following two photography blogs - @talloene and @daughteroftheforests, both of whom have some amazing photographs.
And lastly, art and writing. I followed @sarahseeandersen, whose comics are absolutely hilarious and relatable. @howtofightwrite is a very helpful blog if, like me, the idea of writing fight scenes is very daunting. @screamingatanemptyroom I have been following for their "I can't eat love" series, but I also plan to check out the rest of their writing as well, because it is very good. Seriously, go check out their current ongoing one, it is AWESOME!!!!!!!!
All these blogs are amazing!! Here's to the next 500 posts, in which I will probably have found many more fandoms and people to follow!!
Go on vacation! See the sights! Mingle with the natives! Try the local food!
- Hope making the best of her stay in Brindleton Bay

i caught some christmas spirit, oopsÂ
That one beta who pushes you to write no matter what. Is it shitty? So what, write it. Is it what you were going to write? So what, write it. The plot didn’t go the way you wanted? So what, write it.Â
Roll with it. That’s why we write multiple drafts and edit. You don’t have to get it exactly right in the first draft.
