5 things I am proud of this year (2025)
Hey everyone! So, I thought about doing a list of things I am proud of this year in order to boost my mental health during the dark winter season. And then I decided to turn it into a tag game so others can feel proud of themselves, too. I think we all got reason to do that. :) <3
The basic idea is very simple: List five (or however many) things you are proud of this year. Achievements, accomplishments, changes, things you did, anything you feel proud of for whatever reason.
being more active on my tumblr blog and within fandom(s)
I am super proud of me posting (semi-)regularly on my tumblr blog this year as well as making and sharing more things, like memes, headcanons, theories and ideas. I tend to overthink and question myself a lot, so putting myself out there, engaging with a fandom and other people, and doing creative stuff has helped a lot to make me feel more confident in myself, my skills and my interests. Especially so because what I did/made was met with so much positivity and engagement.
2. the amount of words I wrote, that I write regularly and have shared my writing
I never thought I'd write so regularly that I would consider it a habit, and yet, here I am. This year I have written a lot, more than during several previous years combined, and have also begun to share more of my writing than I ever thought I'd do. It's been terrifying at first, but thanks to the wonderful people in the fandom I wrote for, I feel more at ease with my writing now, and more brave about sharing it. I haven't shared a lot of it in the recent months, and I definitely want to change that again.
3. trying out new things
Usually, I am a bit scared to try out new things (which includes the two points above), but this year I really pushed myself, online and offline. I tried out and followed new creative hobbies, went to new places, discovered and tried out new stores and cafés and foods, met new people. More often than not, the things I tried were a success or gave me beautiful memories, and I am so glad I got to experience it all.
4. being more outgoing, meeting new people and making new friends
I met a lot of fantastic people through this website, and through other ways, at the end of last year and over the course of this year. I met quite a few people in my main fandom of 2025 that I have exchanged messages with over the year, and I am grateful for every single one. I am also grateful that I got to meet one online friend IRL for the first time, video chatted multiple times with another, and met ppl at an event I went to who are also on tumblr. <3
(This year really made me question the claim that it's much harder to meet new people and make friends as an adult because - if it can happen to me, someone who is very shy and introverted, it can happen to others too, imo.)
5. working on myself
That's been a big one for me this year; I wanted to work towards improving my mental health and becoming more brave, confident, experimental, being more curious. I'd definitely say it was a success, as I find that I have made a lot of improvements in that regard. There's still lots of work ahead (being social consistently can be a challenge sometimes, for example), but this year has been a solid foundation that I can build on, and that is making me very, very happy. Definitely a year I will look back on fondly, at least when it comes to my personal life, creative pursuits and fandom/tumblr.
Also, a big thank you who has been part of my journey this year! <3

Fic alert - I don't go anywhere last chapter
“Your codependence is kinda cute,” Tami throws out, randomly, the kind of thing you usually keep to yourself—even her, and she tends to share about 90% of what she thinks. “Co-what?” Mickey wants to know. He looks at Ian, clearly expecting the answer from him. “When two people are always together,” he explains softly, just loud enough for Mickey to feel comfortable asking. Tami is a little moved remarking that, a mix of hope and envy. Yeah, people making things like that for each other are existing. It's not a reality in her own relationship, if she’s being honest. “Oh, okay, yeah,” Mickey shrugs, casually accepting the idea of their separation anxiety. He’s probably more annoyed at her calling them “cute” than by the idea of being codependent with Ian. “No one’s ever told you that before?” she asks. The room is still empty, frozen like a photo from a brochure. She walks a bit closer to the counter. She wonders why there is nobody here, and if she’s ever going to be called. “Not really,” Ian answers after a few seconds. “And anyway, can you imagine him coming here on his own?” he adds with a wink at Mickey. “Fuck off. You only came because you freak out about making deliveries without me,” he shoots back. “If you say so,” Ian laughs, fingers absentmindedly rubing hthe sleeve of his husband's t shirt. /// Tami cross Ian and Mickey's way in a waiting room

Wordcount: 17,272 Chapters: 1/1 Rating: Teen
Description:
Quinlan grins, tilts his head to the side as he gestures at Obi-Wan with his fork. “You can’t tell me that you haven’t had a wandering eye for Skywalker. I’ve seen the way you look at him.” He leans forward, dropping the fork onto his plate with a clang. “So maybe that drop down the ravine messed with your brain a bit more than we were all thinking.”
“I know what I heard,” Obi-Wan reinforces.
Or, five times Anakin confesses and the one time Obi-Wan does.
