I miss you so much.

11 years without your laugh, your sunshine and your wise words even tho we were only kids.

My hearth still beats faster when I think about that day. The day where I got the call that your plane went missing. The whole cast met, we all cried so much when the news came that your plane had hit the alps. The pictures of the pieces of rubble and wreckage spread.

Everybody talked about it the next day at school. Nobody knew that there was somebody amongst them that was directly connected to people on that plane.

Me.

I had my birthday planned, a few weeks after the crash I would have turned 17, your were invited. We texted a day before you boarded that plane about how we were so happy to celebrate together and about your 16th birthday a few weeks after that. I saw your insta posts from Barcelona, you had so much fun.

Never in my life will I forget that day, the time after or your funeral over two month later.

I love you so much.

To this day I think about what advise you would give me when times get hard.

Your joy of life even when everything seemed dark.

The way you made a person heard by just being there.

Your eyes that were always smiling.

All my pictures with you are gone because my hard drive broke almost exactly a year after. But your image is imprinted in my mind but mostly in my hearth.

I can’t believe it’s nearly 11 years.

Sometimes when I’m out I think I saw you in the distance. But then I need to remind myself that that will never ever be possible again.

But I know with every rainbow I see. You are there. You are looking after us.
