autistic person who could not get a diagnosis due to lack of resources goes into research to better learn about themselves in cognito but then gets dunked on by the rest of the community for running a study without an autistic person on the team and receiving comments like "you're the scum of the earth" "fucking ableist trash" etc., because there is still no way for this person to get their diagnosis or accepted by other researchers and mostly they just want to lie down and sleep and want to know more about themselves and get to fit into a community somewhere and feeling just stuck in between because not everyone gets access to diagnosis or exists in a space that accepts self-diagnosis BUT THEN having severe self doubt becuase whAT IF they aren't autistic in the end and like what people are saying they are taking up space when autistic people should be taking up the helm of leading research ?!?!?!?!?! resulting in drop out and burn out and a deeper depression than ever before.
