Only just realised this seems like a little mermaid story: an angel falls in love with a human girl, who is engaged. When the angel confesses, the girl rejects her because it's forbidden. So the angel makes a 'deal with the devil' to become a human man. On the day of her wedding the human girl sees him and instantly feels a connection. They run away together and are happy for a while, until another angel comes in and kills the human out of jealousy. The main angel makes another deal, and gives up their life for their love, revealing their true identity before they go, and leaving the human to cry over losing the same person twice. Fun times!

It's an older vocaloid song, but I still love it.

Nene:

She and her troupe did their own interpretation of the Little Mermaid as a play. I would say props to them for referencing the original story where she turns into foam (although they did change it to be more happy) rather than the Disney version. Also, the entire image of the Little Mermaid is basically infused with her. Ever since she saw a play of the story, she wanted to pursue acting so the story itself is important to her. Not her directly being the Little Mermaid, but its basically became her signature style (aka just anything to do with the sea)
