Stranger Things Season 3 Review - Spoilers Ahead!
A friend and I watched Stranger Things season 3 together and it was pretty solid, better than season 2. Lots of the relationship drama was still pretty annoying, and I hate that fucking Murray had to do his whole thing to get Joyce and Hopper together. I mean their relationship has been built up for the whole show and yet in this season it's just them arguing for the whole thing then Murray doing a Jonathan and Nancy and telling them to just fuck, that was insufferable. Surprised they killed off Hopper, he's been a pretty main stay so like... Billy dying I could understand (glad he got some actually decent characterisation before he died) but Hopper was unexpected. Super cool with it though, I respect when shows do that. Max was super annoying this season, and Mike and Eleven's break-up, or rather certain elements of it, did feel kinda contrived, but eh. Will wasn't super great here, he's kinda just "ooh DnD" until he gets pissed and destroys Castle Byers, but then at the end he's like cool again but without really having a character arc, I dunno. Steve and Dustin were super fun as always, I actually liked Robin a fair bit as well. They made me think for sure they'd become a couple which I initially dreaded the idea of, but it grew on me, but then she was gay, and actually I like that development more. Erica was kinda annoying but she didn't really detract from their group much. I hella called that Suzie would show up in the end and save the day. CG looked way better. I don't know I don't really know I don't have much else to say, I think.

Stormy Subconscious

I knew intuitively that I hadn’t reached the magical 28 minutes figure when I stopped meditating and opened my eyes. I never got around hooking my mind onto meditation last night. The subconscious kicked in earlier than I would have liked it to.
Usually, my will surpasses the subconscious and latches on to the meditation exercise. That’s the least my will has been doing for me. Alas ! It wasn’t the case last night. The subconscious was creating a storm and I was getting drawn into it.
After repeated attempts at saving myself, I finally gave up. And that’s what Paramahansa Yogananda calls a failure. Only if you give up are you a failure, not when your trying. My ability to give up is embedded in my subconscious. What a deep rooted weed that is !
Losing the meditation battle doesn’t feel good at all. Not that I have regressed to some awfully depressed state of mind. I have not. I continue to hold some of the effects of a long term meditation practice. The part that feels bad is that I have lost an opportunity to grow.
Last night’s session and every session that may follow, are all opportunities to get closer to God. Why would I give up on a session ?! The answer to that question lies with my sleepy dreamy subconscious.
It's literally a few minutes away from midnight and since I was staying at @meme-emperor's I wasn't able to watch Sailor Moon so this'll be the first day I miss an episode
Lily downloaded MagiReco NA and pulled Mami on her first multi I'm very jealous but then I have Madoka which she really wants so it's perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
