So, I'm in line, ready to hand over my hard earned money to Cabana, and he looks up and sees my shirt and actually acknowledges that it's the Cody Rhodes shirt.  It's the new one, with the mustache, that hardly anyone ever notices.  And I say yeah, and I have a tattoo, too.  And show it to him.  And he laughs and says I should have gotten it over the set of lips (I have lips and a crown from when Billy Gunn was KotR) so it would be the mustache on the lips.  TOTALLY would have!  But, there wasn't enough room.

Anyway, he tells us how when he first moved to Kentucky (OVW) how welcoming Cody was.  That he took him out to eat and just made him feel really welcome.  And he said that Cody was so kind and really nice, and I just looked at my best friend and said, "And that's why I love Cody!  I think I love him more now."

And yes, I live for things like that, to hear that someone I fangirl over isn't actually a douchebag.  That he IS a nice person and does stuff like that.

*le sigh* I love Cody Rhodes. 

And then later we were outside and talking, and this chick was out there and I said Cody Rhodes and she looked at me blankly.  And I said, "Dusty Rhodes's son."  And then her friend came out and she looked at him and said, "Should I know who Dusty Rhodes is?"  And I just stared at her blankly.  Turns out she was just there because she knew one of the wrestlers, so just supporting a friend.  But, still!  Dusty Rhodes!
