Hey Emi :) I was wonderin, at what age did you start learning to walk in high heels and how long did it take you to 'master' it? How did you get the motivation to practice walking in them? I've tried wearinh my heels inside the house and breaking them in, but after an hour or so I'm like 'nope taking them off'. I started 'trying' to wear heels when I was 18 and now I'm 20 (still can't wear them). Can't even wear low chunky ones and I end up clunking around when I walk.. liz lisa heels so cute :(
I think what’s most important is to start with a comfortable, good quality, well-fitted shoe. For you that might be a heel starting at maybe 2-2.5 inches? I actually find micro-mini/kitten heels harder to walk in than 4in heels though so I would look for something in between. The material of the shoe - patent leather and leather shoes often take a little time to break in and there’s an adjustment period. However, they do tend to last longer than synthetic materials. I would personally avoid having Forever21/super cheapy footwear as my learning-to-walk-in-heels shoe just because cheaper shoes tend not to be as comfortable because the designer focuses more on look and less on the wearability. You may also want to look for a shoe with straps or foot security. For example, a mary jane pump. Or even a boot! A small platform in the front also helps for heels that are 4+inches.As for actually walking in them, what I find helps is doing heel-toe, heel-toe. And what REALLY helps is swinging your hips a little (side to side). You don’t need to do it so obviously where people are wondering what your issue is, but at the end of the day when my feet are hurting, I really just swish my hips a little more when I’m walking and it helps propel me forward lol.
Hope this helps!

27/09/12 Só pra começar o dia...
Daqui a pouco tenho escola. To meio desconcentrada porque to ouvindo música.
Precisava me amar, me aceitar. Me valorizar!
Consegui. Amém! Mas como?
