Years of test and fail eventually makes one learn, Frankenstein the perfect model for Jecht. And lucky enough for actually import it on Breath of the Wild.
I never show here why that Jecht mod on Breath of the Wild doesnât look like either his NT model or something he had ever wear canon: Is because all is custom-frankenstein made. The face, using some model of some game, I try to edit it as much as I can to make it look as âin betweenâ Original FF10 model and Dissidia Model, with some touch of Dissidia NT CG (were for example Jecht has body hair). Body speaking, using a lot of reference of bodybuilders not in season and even non-bodybuilder, just muscle NON-FAMOUS without the touch of Photoshop and based on medical âpossibleâ, I remake the MK11 model for fit a accurate proportion, like make it big, but not big in a ridiculous way as some people tend to draw. Always with a large chest, but is based mode in Blitzball and how is a water game and usually in real life, people specialize in sport of water tend to have a bigger chest (bigger lungs). The clothes? completely based on Monster Hunter World set I used to play: A combination of Kulu Pants with the Oolong gloves. The necklace is a special detail: Those are Auron beads he wear around his hip for hold his Nog, this are from Gunslinger Stratos 3 crossover they made years ago, were one character got a full Auron custom in equal quality to NT models. As small detail, I resize the Nog for make it all look like a necklace around Jechtâs neck. So yes, I have done a custom stuff, everything for not use what NT did. I was close to make something relative to Braska, but I donât like much add too much details vs function. For that reason is very simple clothes, specially because the pants follow Jechtâs basic pants have âxâ at the side.

Well I had a work for my University on the December 28th that I work hard until the last second, this is the final result, I made two low poly models in 3DSMAX which I made the UVmaps, then I took them to Zbrush to mark the polygrups and generate the maximum detail required and expected to decimate, bake, paint and generate materials in Substance painter and then take it to Unreal.
This semester was the first time I used that program (Substance Painter), it is very good, and I liked how easy it is to use, then in January I plan to continue improving the models but this time with unlimited time and without the pressure of having a work and deadline in the head to publish them in my design profile and Linkedin.
I love the way they turned out!, but I feel if i had more time to work in Substance Painter the models would have been much better really, but hey, time is scarce and limited....
