I know Iโm not the only one who feels uncomfortable being the โdelivererโ of Amphoreus.
It doesnโt sit right with me. Like, yes, weโre the main character and all that, but after everything Phainon has gone through? That man deserves it so much more.
Khaslana may merge with Irontomb. Perhaps in a โsacrifice, because I can weaken them,โ way and not a โI literally do not have a choiceโI am being forced to.โ Way. But I truly, genuinely hope that in some way, Khaslana deals the last blow. I wonโt be surprised if Cyrene deals the final blow, thatโs to be expected. But still.
After all 33,550,336 cycles, he still deserves the title of deliverer, no matter how much he rejects it and how much we are forced to accept it. Khaslana sacrificed blood and soul all for his world, and yes, probably made unnecessary sacrifices, but we had to get there at some point. He and Cyrene made a choice, and that choice changed everything in Amphoreus, whether it be for good or worse.
Itโs unfortunate how much we glaze over the sacrifices that Phainon made in 3.4. Even in the most recent update. And how little credit he is given for carrying out such a heavy burden.
Phainon, or rather, Khaslana of Aedes Elysiae is the true Deliverer of Amphoreus, I will not change my mind.
