Maybe she saw something she wasn’t supposed to see. Uh, she sees the guy in his car. She gets out to confront him. He runs her over. But what could she have seen? I mean look at where the car was parked. Only thing over there are the dumpsters.

I take a break. I go outside and sit in the shade, Watch the trees sway in the breeze, Feel the sun even indirectly, And breathe. For a moment I don't need distraction. For a moment there is enough fascination With just the world around me. For a moment I wonder if this is how things are meant to be. I don't think it matters. What matters is that this is how things could be, That with time and effort and care The world could be at peace.
