The American tuning studio Hennessey Performance Engineering, represented by the Hennessey Special Vehicles division, has presented a serial Venom F5 hypercar that will challenge the Bugatti Chiron and Koenigsegg Jesko. The novelty will be released in the amount of 24 copies.

The Venom F5 is powered by a 6.6-liter V8 with twin ball bearing turbochargers and 3D printed compressor housings. The engine output is 1842 horsepower (1617 Nm), and the atelier assures that this is the most powerful engine ever installed on a production car. For comparison, the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ is equipped with an 8.0-liter W16 with 1600 hp (1600 Nm), while the Koenigsegg Jesko is equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 with 1600 hp (1526 Nm).

Venom F5 received a system for selecting operating modes of driving electronics. There are five of them: Sport, Track, Drag, Wet and F5, and the maximum engine power will be available only in the last of them. The engine is coupled with a seven-speed robotic gearbox, the drive is rear.

The first "hundred" Venom F5 gives out in less than three seconds, acceleration from 0 to 200 kilometers per hour takes 4.7 seconds, up to 300 kilometers per hour - 8.4 seconds, and up to 400 kilometers per hour - 15 , 5 seconds.

The Venom F5 is named after the highest category of tornadoes on the Fujita scale, or F-scale, as tornadoes with a speed exceeding 419 kilometers per hour designate. The hypercar itself is capable of accelerating to 512 kilometers per hour.

The rear-wheel-drive coupe is built around a carbon monocoque weighing just 86 kilograms and weighing 1,360 kilograms - a power-to-weight ratio “far superior to any modern car,” the studio says, although the experimental Bugatti Bolide is immediately reminded. As for the aerodynamics of the Venom F5, Hennessey calls it “perfect”: the coupe has a ventilated hood, massive air intakes on the sides, and a protruding splitter in front.
Interior Hennessey Venom F5
In the interior decoration, only genuine leather and carbon fiber were used, from which, among other things, the seat frames and a multifunctional steering wheel, shaped like a steering wheel, were made. For comfort options, the Venom F5 has a nine-inch Alpine infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Behind the wheel is a seven-inch digital instrument panel.

The Venom F5 is the successor to the 1244-horsepower Hennessey Venom GT hypercar based on the Lotus Elise that was introduced in 2017.
