A Parade of Providence Act III
This finale was so good!
First of all, the animated cutscene (that we partially saw in the trailer) was awesome, itās so cool seeing the characters using their powers like that (if only we could fly for that long with Wanderer š)
Then this whole thing with Kaveh, Iām so happy that he won the competition, but more than that Iām so happy that we saw so much character development for him in this single event.
Sometimes I like these events more than Story Quests for characters because we see more interactions with other characters and a lot of personal and emotional focus on them. This was sooo good!
The fact that Kaveh donated the money, but he still got something out of that card lol. I get him, sometimes it feels wrong to charge money to friends but that person may feel itās unfair to get it for free so you have to accept their kindness too.
(When Cyno said that Alhaitham was in their hearts I actually laughed out loud, I didnāt expect such a corny line from him)
Like I said before, Iām starting to really like the Sumeru cast. Cyno is very funny now and has good chemistry with Tighnari, Collei is a cinnamon roll, Kaveh is so wholesome and his bond with Alhaitham is interesting and priceless in terms of humor. I had such a great time.
It was also good seeing Nahida, and I KNEW IT, she wants Kuni to go to the Akademiya and get an education. Oh my God I laughed so hard at his reaction, their relationship is another great one that Iāve come to adore. Another piece of development for our favourite Hat Guy.
And that extra scene...

It was such a good scene for them. We get some resolution on what happened to Kavehās father, and some kind of understanding between the two of them that feels very nice. Alhaitham is so hard to read, he has less emotions than a potato, but in the end you can tell heās a nice guy as well.
Self Sacrificing radish
So can we talk about how she the radish archon feels so responsible for her people that she decided that she would sacrifice herself in order to save Apep the dendro dragon. Knowing that she had only just gotten a taste of freedom and that she would get so small that essentially it would be her death. But she even cares about creatures that aren't necessarily her people. Out of all the archons she's the best of the bunch. She is my radish daughter and I love her dearly.

No but likeā¦can we get a scene that plays out during the event where they show how Nahida convinced Scara/Wanderer to enter this Akademia contest? Like I genuinely want to know and I bet a lot of you too. Like, how the heck did he sign up? Did he take classes just to enter? Did he enter because Nahida used her Archon title to add him? How the heck did THAT conversation go? Did she just go up and say, āHey soooo, I noticed youāre staying quite some time locked up in your room, which it totally fine butā¦wellā¦Achemā¦why donāt you go out more and make some friends? Likeā¦during this upcoming event? You can represent (insert the darshan here. I am too lazy to go out of my way to look up the name and copy pasting it here) while youāre at it

The 3.6 update is right around the corner and I'm afraid I won't get to enjoy it right away, because I'm a lil overwhelmed with everything at the moment lol
Anyway, GUYS WE'RE GETTING CLOSER TO GETTING THE PESKY ROOMMATE AND THE LIYUE DOCTOR.
I was waiting until the 3.6 livestream happened to finally explain why I love Kaveh's fighting style so much.
Kaveh loves anything to do with the beauty in life so touching anything that's not beautiful isn't his cup of tea. Wielding a weapon is seen as not beautiful or too manly in his eyes, so he has a device do this for him. It shows his creativity in not just architecture but also fighting.
Honestly, this gives me hope that we'll have more sword/claymore/polearm users who wield their weapon like this. Where they basically control it with something like magic or their mind.
With the amount of characters that we've got, fighting styles are limited so people end up having the same animations (which is fine and to be expected). But Kaveh gives a new perspective that I hope Hoyo continues.
Now as for why he would pick a claymore and not a catalyst (since the catalyst could float beside him and he also wouldn't have to touch it) is a very good question š¤
