Beyond that, the antagonists share a lot of traits. Standout examples include the use of books to reveal information (enderwalk/Dream, "He", In-Between), the recurring smiley face motif (enderwalk/Dream, Quackity, In-Between, "He"), relationship to life and death (Quackity, Egg, Wilbur, Dream), and influence over memory (Enderwalk/Dream, In-between, "He"). Several of the antagonists have also been stated to have catastrophic plans for the future of the server (Wilbur, Egg, "He").

We also know that all the individuals wrapped up in this have been acting noticeably out of character. Philza and Tommy both noted that Wilbur was not the same person they had known by the time he died, and Dream and Quackity both cut ties with all their friends to pursue power. These behavioral changes remind me strongly of the way the egg acolytes change after being corrupted, reorienting their entire focus around the goals of the Egg at the expense of their relationships, morals, and material possessions. Ranboo also appears to be operating under a different set of morals when under the influence of the Enderwalk state, judging by his horror at his own actions upon waking.

(I also want to point out that Sam's behavioral changes appear to fit these patterns as well. Although he isn't explicitly under the influence of any particular antagonist, he has worked closely with both Dream and Quackity, and he was at one point possessed by the Egg. The extreme lengths he's shown himself willing to go to defend the prison are completely at odds with the other things he values, like his relationships with Ponk and Tommy. I think it's possible, even likely, that Sam is still under the Egg's influence.)

To summarize, it's clear that a lot of separate plotlines on the smp are beginning to converge in a major way, and I think there are too many similarities between the various "bad guys" to be a coincidence. I'm really excited to see how the threads continue to weave together!
