3 Extremes is an Asian horror anthology with an interesting conceit, each of the three films has a different director -- one from China, one from Korea, and one from Japan -- the result is one of more well rounded horror flicks I've ever seen. Do you like pure, psychological terror? The third story will give you chills. Like Saw-esque "torture porn?" The second story has your number. Do you prefer your horror brought up to boil slowly and methodically, well, stay with the first story until the end. Between this and 2015's Wild Tales, I'm starting to think that horror might be best served in appetizer sized portions, all the flavor, fewer empty calories.
