The earliest films I watched were Japanese films by the likes of Kurosawa, Suzuki, Gosha, Honda, Fukasaku and many more. We would watch them every Saturday night on the local PBS station The very first movie I probably watched according to Saul was Gate of Flesh. I was maybe a little over a year!
