My first modeling attempt of the main character in a game i'm planning! My goal is to refine the model for this lil guy and then animate their walk/run cycles. Its rough right now but I can't wait to improve!
(Feel free to ask questions about the game itself im always willing to infodump about my projects)
Playing with my virtual skulls, I think the bottom two could be really cool candlestick holders if printed at small scale, and the top one might have some interesting jewelry applications.
It supposed to be terran banshee from starcraft 2 rts game. My first blender models were vehicles or angular objects. It,s much easier for me as a beginner to model objects like this. I would model a monster or a dragon, but it,s to early for this. I even don,t know, how to model a human face at all.

I’m also learning nx11, which is a really great CAD/CAM software. The right was from learning how to rotate to make a solid, the left is a part for a scale I’m making for a time based piece. The program can even make things draftable which is awesome, so hopefully I’ll be able to mold my parts in greensand once they’re printed out. The only downside is that this software is super duper expensive so I’d have to go through an institution to access it in all likelihood.
