who cries when someone dies in a movie: Neither of them, tbh. I guess Lavi would be more emotional than Kanda when it comes to movies, but I can’t really see him crying 

who wears the ugly holiday garb: But Lavi, of course. Kanda would rather die before allowing himself to be stuffed into ugly holiday garb.

who pays for the meals: Kanda’s already paid before Lavi can respond. They pay for each other most of the time though, and don’t particularly keep track of their debts because ‘it’ll even out anyway’. 

who slams the oven door and who plays the trombone: Lavi slams the oven door and Kanda plays the trombone. I hc Lavi as being really careless with everything so oven door slamming and accidental fridge door slamming is totally his thing. Kanda on the other hand takes a lot of pride in playing the trombone - it’s like his modern-day Mugen, you know?  

who brings home stray animals: Kanda brought home a stray puppy one day and Lavi didn’t say anything so now they have two dogs living with them.

who leaves the bathroom door open: Kanda. Lavi closes it because he says the bathroom door distracts him from his work. (I have no idea how house layouts are in other parts of the world, but over here we have bathrooms in the master bedroom so that’s what I’m going with)

who tells the ‘dad jokes’: Lavi, most of the time. Kanda tells them sometimes when he’s in the mood, and the speechless expression he gets from Lavi is always worth it.

who wants kids more: Neither of them! They have their dogs, no need for kids.

who travels more: Lavi. Wanderlust is in his blood.

who spends more cash: Lavi, because Kanda is the kind of guy who only shops for what he really needs, while Lavi…is… a frivolous spender.

who buys the things in infomercials: Kanda, and Lavi always goes W H Y, YUU?????

who draws in the dust on their cars: Neither of them, but if I had to pick I would say Lavi. Kanda tells him to ‘cut it out and come help me wash the cars’. 

who starts the snowball fights: Lavi definitely, he loves snowball fights.

who throws away the directions to things: Kanda, because he knows Lavi’s got them memorised after one look at the manual.

who puts up holiday decor: Lavi loves holiday decor. Kanda rolls his eyes but indulges him and helps out anyway.

who is more likely to forget to bathe: Lavi’s the kind who would get so engrossed in his work that he would forget to bathe. Kanda forcibly drags him off to take a bath and a break.

who gets more obsessed about things: As above, Lavi.
