what i dont see anyone talking about right now is that ray never had to get the pills, like mikey and frank (and presumably gerard b4 he distracted the clerk)
like ray is already an interesting character, he seemingly gets reconditioned easily, but also breaks out of it as soon as his bandmates are in danger (going to check on mikey, fighting to get to gerard, gently touching gerards arm so they dont touch the eye thing)
but also, he bet against gerard? which is contradictory to the rest of his character..
also, in the sleep visuals i am going to assume that their reactions are how they react to the reconditioning (which im assuming is some kind of psychological torture?). gerard is lying quite still, they are compliant, they just want it to be over. frank is scared, he is terrified of the torture, but not of the authority. mikey is angry, as seen with him stopping the slap.
but ray? i cant quite decipher his reaction. confused? scared? stressed? hes holding his hand up, is he trying to stop it? mind you ray has interfered the least, with mikey, he stopped the slap, frank, stopped the time loop, gerard has just been an inconvenience to the higher-ups most of the time. but ray hasnt done anything along those lines (as far as i can remember). so is it that he has a fear trying to stop the events will just result in being reconditioned? honestly rays whole thing is really boggling my brain right now. :(
