Another okay episode. The plot was interesting, two people in positions of power taking advantage of a teenager who just wanted to be seen, to belong, to be cared for. It’s heartbreaking how often this happens in real life.

I know it’s not the same, but one of my friends from college was groomed by one of our professors. She came from a really low income background, and her family situation was tough. She was the smartest one in our group, she was going places. But during our second year, her dad died, and everything collapsed. That professor had always been a little obsessed with her, and he used her grief to get close. She never wanted kids, but she ended up pregnant and married him. I want to believe she’s happy, but I don’t know. That wasn’t the life she always told us she wanted.

Anyway, I didn’t like Naomi that much, but I’m glad she found some form of justice and closure.

I really enjoyed most of the courtroom scenes. I loved that Liv acknowledged how much Carisi has grown as an ADA when she said, "You’ll figure it out. You always do."
