Who did you think is more afraid of losing the other, sonny or amanda?
Oh, I can't choose! It'd be a tie, I reckon.

Peter Scanavino as Dominick "Sonny" Carisi in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, season 16
My GIF masterlist
I was thinking
What is instead of nicole was Kim who started to show a romantic/sexual interest in carisi and this is the reason that amanda decide to take the first step on carisi because of his jealousy and fear on losing carisi (this could cause more conflict between rollins sister's)
If that had been the case, I'm pretty sure Amanda would have been like, "Oh, not this time, Kim"!
Slightly unrelated to Rollisi, but what's your opinion on his mom Serafina?
I think she's great. We've only seen her on-screen that one time, but that brief appearance plus all of the background information Carisi has dropped over the past ten-odd years indicate that she's such a caring person (and a rather stereotypical Italian mom, but I don't think that's a bad thing!). I really hope we get to see her in person again before the show ends.

Just realized the show still hasn't done a "kidnap/hold hostage a main character's child for leverage" storyline yet on the show after 27 seasons. Closest was Noah being picked up from school and dropped to the squad room in season 20 by Rob Miller's people to scare Liv and show that he could take her kid anytime he wanted.
Yes; and I guess Sheila Porter taking Noah doesn't count either, because she wanted him all to herself, not to ransom for money or leverage!
I'm fine with them not doing a kidnap episode actually; way too stressful for me as a viewer!

A storyline they could have done instead in S22 is bring in an old female partner of Carisi from his P.O. days. He had a small crush on her and that went away as soon as they stopped being partners. They reunite on a case that crossed paths with SVU. She sees him in a different light now seeing how much he changed in his skills and knowledge and has grown very attractive. Bringing up feelings in the past she didn't want to admit cause he was a rookie.
Of course, Rollins isn't liking it one bit seeing competition and slight pattern but also huge difference in comparison.
That would have been really interesting to see during that s22 period while Amanda was sorting out her feelings ...
or they could actually do an episode about a step-parent adoption case related and having BOTH Carisi and Amanda talk about it with the victim/family or by themselves and or the squad. That's how you write a personal scene connected/intertwined to a case, I don't know why it's so hard for this show runner, they have been doing it for 26 years in svu.
That's a good idea; something like that would be a great way to tie it in with a case.

How do you think Jesse and Billie handled Carisi being the Nicky’s bio dad? Do you think overtime it became a sensitive topic?
I think Carisi and Amanda would have sat down with the girls and explained to them that he has loved them since the day they were born, and nothing was going to change that.
The fact that both girls are calling him "Daddy" now seems to suggest that all is okay on that score, at least for now.
What I would really like to see is some indication, however oblique, that Carisi has formally adopted both girls. Maybe it could be a fleeting reference, like Amanda calling out, "Billie Rollins-Carisi, what did I say about leaving your shoes in the hall?"
Do you have any headacanons about Carisi and Nicky?
I read a fic a few years ago in which Carisi went grocery shopping with baby Nicky strapped to his chest, and that immediately became a headcanon for me!
I can also picture him holding complete conversations with Nicky even well before the latter could even talk - I'm sure Carisi could provide both sides of such a conversation very easily!
