So, I really liked episode 24x18 it felt like a classic SVU episode, with a wild case and an unexpected conclusion. We had a bad guy with mommy issues and a mom with even more issues. Pretty solid episode. I'm going to list my highlights because:
Carisi man-spreading at the precinct, I love that man so much.
I live for Fin and Carisi’s passive aggressive interactions. Seriously, they give me life.
“Was Carisi this cranky when he was a detective?”
“Well, it's not as stereotypical as it sounds coming from you, Carisi.” I love them your honor.
Lawyer Carisi in bitchy mode is my favorite kind of Carisi.
Carisi was making Carisi jokes again. I don’t know how to explain it, but when he was a detective, he had this particular sense of humor, “Mute that witch” comes to mind, and I feel like since he became an ADA, we kind of lost that. But in this episode, he was so Carisi. Once again, I just love him.
And finally, the last scene with him and Liv. He was looking particularly handsome, but what I liked the most is that they’re showing us they’re good friends. It's not going to be the same relationship she had with Barba or Stone, but they’re building something new. Also he called her Benson! he rarely called her by her last name, and I really liked it.
