magic king dom is honestly hella confusing. i enjoyed it but i wish they put out something like a plot summary or explanation somewhere. im almost done with that write-up trying to connect all the dots in girl in space, 2298, limbo, and magic king dom, but like that one is giving me the most trouble, and i’ve already relistened to it twice and read the transcripts
the problem with it is that it throws a lot of information at you very quickly, and that info would only make sense if you have the context of all those other shows. and a lot of the plot happens in between the episodes rather than in them and you gotta fill in all the blanks yourself. like one ep ends with the characters escaping from someone holding them at gunpoint. and the next ep is years later and they’re all traveling together, and they never get into how this character goes from pointing a gun at them to being an irritable travel companion
