JulNoWriMo has been going well. As I have been writing, I have been thinking of the plot details I should add. Not only that, but I have managed to stay in the top 5 of the contestants - and wrote a little bit more that 22,300 :). Good new indeed. The novel is somewhat forming itself, even though I only introduced 4 characters...You may think that the story is going slow, but heck, a lot of things are happening in each scene. I might just have to slow down...

I enjoy writing my scenes. I learn more about my worlds and my characters as I write each scene, as if I was meeting new friends that have their own secrets. Maybe I'm approaching character and book development the wrong way, but I like how I'm doing things because I can be always surprised whenever I think of a twist, and it makes me want to write more. It is as if my characters are somehow writing and forming themselves, rather than I'm forming them. Currently, a couple of characters are screaming at me, telling me ideas of what I should include, and all I can do was to hold them back and wait till those ideas can come to light when I'm ready.
