VERSE OF THE DAY: 2 CORINTHIANS 12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Lord, I am thankful of my weaknesses, If Your power is displayed in this, I will praise Your Holy Name! In Jesus' name, Amen.
HOW WEAKNESS BECOMES STRENGTH CHARIS - Greek word for "Grace" conveyed the favor God showed humanity when He sent Jesus to earth for us. Jesus made a way for anyone to experience intimacy with God. A relationship with God is a free gift! God says: I am enough for you! God could meet Paul's needs, and God is with him. God chose to show off His power through him. Boast about how weak you are so God gets the credit for every great thing that happened to us. Our cry changes from "God, please remove this suffering" to "God, when I suffer, show me how You are using this for Your glory and my good."
Whatever you're facing know that God is near. He sees you, and He loves you. Take some time today and ask God to show you how He is empowering you. Draw near to Him, and let Him strengthen you.
God, thank You for giving me Yourself. Thank You for empowering me to face whatever comes my way. Help me to remember that even when I'm weak, You are still strong. And You can take the hardest situations and turn it around for Your glory and my good. So please help me to glorify You with all that I am. Let my weaknesses become windows that Your glory shines through. In Jesus' name, Amen.
SHARE YOUR FAITH If you don't feel confident sharing your faith, God is strong in your weakness. He empowers you!
GOD IS THE MAIN EVANGELIST God saves people; we do not. This powerful truth lifts up a heavy undue burden off of us. God is pursuing people with His love. God's heart is for each person in your current daily spheres of influence to be saved. His Holy Spirit is the one who convicts and draws someone to put their faith in Jesus. So, relax. We have the joy of joining God in what He's doing. Remember, you are not on God's mission alone. God is with you in your awesome mission to share Jesus among who you know. Acknowledge Him being with you.
Ask Him to give you His heart and affections for the people in your life, which is the same as His heart for you. In Jesus' name, Amen.
PSALM 148:1-5 Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise Him in the heights! Praise Him, all his angels; praise him, all his hosts! Praise him, sun and moon, praise him, all you shining stars! Praise Him, you highest heavens, and you waters above the heavens! Let them praise the name of the Lord! For He commanded and they were created.
Meditate on this verse and spend some time honoring God through praise and reflection.
1 CORINTHIANS 6:12 "All things are lawful for me," but not all things are helpful. "All things are lawful for me." but I will not be dominated by anything.
Is there anything keeping you from drawing closer to God? Be honest with Him about how you're doing, and voice your concerns.
God, thank You for being my constant source of strength and peace. The fact that You are with me at all times gives me joy and fills me with hope. Today, please remind me that You are with me. No matter what I face, help me to remember that You are near and You are in control. Every battle I face has already been won. In Jesus' name, Amen.
