hi i have some headcanons about soulless sonic (the current "main" continuity for sonic.exe), but first i'd like to clarify some things to separate established canon from headcanon:
x's age has never been canonically stated, and all that is known is that it has (presumably) existed since 1977, and that it is subject to aging and dying from old age, which it is nearing by the time of SONIC-PC.
outside of SONIC 2011, it is not known when any of the games are set. all that is currently known is that SONIC-PC is set after 2019, as that is the year kylie entered the game.
it is not clear the timescale on which x's body ages, the natural lifespan of its species, or if there is any unusual qualities to x itself that have altered its lifespan.
the flow of time in the VOID is apparently much slower inside than it is outside, as alan believed that he had only been in x's world for about a year and a half after entering in 2010, when outside, it was at least 2019 or later due to kylie's presence.
ok now i can establish my headcanons!
i think that the 1977 wow! signal shown at the end of "how to draw lord x" is x's birth, which would place its age in SONIC 2011 at around 33-34, depending on if the game is set before or after x's birthdays.
x's birth date is august 15th, 1977 (the date of the wow! signal), but it celebrates its birthday on june 23rd, as that is sonic the hedgehog's birthday. predictably, its "birthday parties" are merely thinly-veiled excuses for macabre art and bloody violence.
i think that SONIC-PC, The Second Disk, Sonic Redux, and SOULLESS SONIC all take place within the same year, and that the event that kicks off the events of the series is the player re-establishing contact with x to play its game one more time before it kicks the bucket, leading to the player also reuniting with alan.
i think that while the most recent of the major vessels (julie) entered the game around the mid 2020's, by the time that SONIC-PC finally begins, at least 50 years of real-world time have passed outside the VOID, which places the year of the four games as 2061.
much like how its appearance in 2011 was called 2011x, lord x's metatextual date name is 2061x.
lord x is 83 by the time of SOULLESS SONIC. by the end of the series, it doesn't make it to 84.
