来週、彼が引っ越す。

今より少し離れて、車で10分くらいのところ。1ヶ月くらいだったけど、こんなに近くに住んでるうちに知り合えてよかった。

昨日、彼の家に泊まって今朝彼が仕事に向かうのと同時に帰ってきた。仕事前でも嫌な顔ひとつせず沢山かまってくれた。私が勝手に抱いてたもやもやも、昨夜ゆっくり会話して全部取っ払ってくれた。

クリスマス一緒に過ごしたいと言ったら、喜んでokをくれた。彼が絶対気に入ってくれるであろうプレゼントを見つけたので、今から彼の喜ぶ顔が楽しみだな。

You sit quietly, straddling a fallen dead branch to face the river, your camera half-forgotten on the leaves. A bird chirps above you, and another answers.

Slowly, as you stay there, the forest comes back alive around you. The squirrels around here aren’t known for their temerity, so you’re unsurprised when two return to scampering around the little half-clearing half-beach you frequent. Even the river seems to relax, reaching up to touch at the tips of your shoes every couple of minutes.
