Harley Get! It's glaringly obvious which of these is counterfeit even though they're two different versions. (I had gotten the counterfeit before I knew what a real Qposket was. I try to be more careful now but still make those mistakes. Can't 100% trust the internet)
First the box. The genuine has clear printing on the box and a serial number stamped inside. Each piece is sequestered in it's own pocket in plastic packaging then placed inside a support tube of cardboard. The counterfeit had muddied printing on thin cardstock. All parts were sequestered but there was no support cardboard.
The figure itself: The way it's painted. sloppy or no? The counterfeit has nice paint, but it's sloppy compared to a genuine one. The face. Shape is better defined on a genuine. The eyes are sunken on the counterfeit with a visible gap. The material. Counterfeit is a bit soft and shiny. Genuine is smooth, matte, and a harder pvc, she solid. The stands. Genuine has Qposket stamped on it, is matte (in comparison) AND has a head support (at least this one does). Counterfeit stand is shiny with no logo, and no support stand. Gravity has not been kind to that neck. The genuine Qposket has better details overall. Everything is defined down to jewelry. Counterfeit has muddied details and obvious seams all over.
Look at that neck support. Unless this is a REALLY good counterfeit I'd say the Amazon purchase is genuine. The ebay one, definitely be wary of ebay if you're looking for a genuine item.
