Sarah is not too keen on Jack’s plans (or in Alan doing Jack’s ‘dirty work’ for him) but Richie persuades her that it is a good idea for the kids to have some fun while things calm down by the time they return. Sarah says her goodbyes to the kids.
Sarah: I hope I’ve done the right thing in agreeing to let them go.

Sarah: Yeah, you’re right. I just hope I don’t live to regret it.
Alan: Well I don’t wish to sound preachy but I think you made a more damaging decision some weeks ago.

Well I don’t wanna go. I don’t wanna miss that much school. (1 of 2)
Sarah doesn’t tell Richie about Jack’s threats. Jack is abrupt with Andy. Soon after, Jack suggests the boys visit Annie for a time (Andy convincing Robert who, at first, would rather not miss that much school). Jack sees Alan to act as an intermediary with Sarah to let her know about his intention with the kids. Gifs will be in a separate post again.
Andy: You’ve got to give it a try. Things can’t get any worse.
Robert: That’s true. (not!)
Andy: If we went away for a few weeks… we might come back and find them back together again.
Robert: Yeah, go on then. Suppose it’s worth a try.
