Something terrifying happened to me today. At various points in my life, I have thought myself to be a Ravenclaw, a Gryffindor, and a Hufflepuff. Pottermore sorted me into Gryffindor years ago, so I decided to retake the test and see if it still stood. Not once did I ever consider myself a Slytherin. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against Slytherin. I admire their cunning and ambition. But I’ve always seen myself as opposite of them. My values lay with loyalty, stupid bravery, and wit. But today, Pottermore chose differently. I was sorted into Slytherin. I don’t know what to make of this, or how to feel about it. Definitely taking the test again.

Sometimes, when it's windy outside, I catch myself instinctively imagining that it's thunder. It never rains here with it being Wyoming and winter. I miss it tremendously.

One of the great things I appreciate about talking to other millennials is that we're all still discovering stuff together. So when I discover a thing that I find interesting, I can excitedly go to another millennial and they seem to be more likely to be interested and excited too, whereas, if I got to someome who's 35+, they tend to already know what I'm talking about and are rather disenchanted.
