Lowkey this surprises me, I feel like I slowed down on BABYMETAL a lot this year. Guess not as much as I thought though.

I feel like I skipped a lot of SEGA SOUND TEAM (as in, literally just Sonic music) when it came up tbh, but once again I surprise myself. Honestly expected μ's to take it home. Oh well.

eh I didn’t get much done yesterday because my anxiety started acting up lol

I have a philo class today (my dad let me take online classes instead of onsite ones wow?? you care for me and my health ??) and we’re talking about freud, actually, my classmates are not me, I didn’t copy the notes from last class so I have no clue on what they’re talking about today 🤩

Anyways. I’ve been a little quiet lately. That’s because 1. last week was midterms and I was crunching time, and more importantly 2. I’m STILL sick. My professor called it “the cold from Hell” and he’s not wrong lol. I think that my cold just turned into a sinus infection today, which is pretty cool. I guess I’m finally gonna go drag my ass to the doctor and then I have acupuncture next week.

It is certainly frustrating, but I’m not worrying about it too much. I can’t be sick forever; and when I finally fully heal, I’m gonna have so much energy!! I’m going to do all the things!! Lots of astral stuff!! and also, it’s going to be spring!! and oh lord I don’t even wanna know how my Path is gonna change when spring hits; but I have a feeling that it definitely will.

But anyways, yeahhp that’s what I’ve been up to. Alls’ quiet on the home front... for now.

They’ve already said it’s going to end on a big cliffhanger tonight, and we know episode 6 is like “an Eliot movie”. They’ve also teased Eliot getting smacked down by that kraken enough times. So what if tonight he either dies (I know I know) or gets injured badly enough that he goes to the Underworld, and, you see where I’m going with this.

Maybe he even gets a letter back from Q first, like hey asshole, you’re telling me not to die but um I’m telling you YOU’RE going to, so uh hey maybe DON’T do that. And of course Eliot doesn’t heed the warning, but because they had a head’s up they somehow figure out a way to do a time loop in case they can’t prevent him from dying, it gives them a chance to do a do-over a set number of times. And maybe the best outcome they get is that Eliot doesn’t die, but ends up in a coma, with a chance to recover.

And then (I dunno, should I write this fic or lol) we get the “Eliot movie” while waiting to see what his ultimate fate is, because you know, his life is flashing before his eyes. So we see him reliving his past (growing up in Indiana thru coming to Brakebills, and maybe all this memory-traversing is actually taking place while he’s in the Underworld) and maybe somewhere in there there’s some little thing that leads back into a logical reason why he ends up surviving. Like something about him that we didn’t know before that ends up giving him the key to his survival, or some magical incident from his past that leads to it–I don’t know.

But in meantime, while he’s in the Underworld, he sees Q of course.
