Nintendo officially unveiled the Nintendo Switch back in October of 2016 and we weren’t given any information other than a teaser trailer. On January 12th, 2017 Nintendo finally revealed the console’s price. launch window, and many more details! So here’s everything you need to know for Nintendo’s upcoming console:

Release Date, Pricing & Bundles

The Nintendo Switch will be released on March 3, 2017 worldwide for $299.99 USD. It will also come in two bundles: one bundle includes two gray Joy-Con controllers, and the other comes with a neon red and neon blue Joy-Con.

Battery Life

The tablet will have a battery life range of 2.5 to 6 hours depending on what kind of game you’re playing

What’s In The Box

The Nintendo Switch console will come with a Nintendo Switch Dock, Joy-Con controllers, Joy-Con grip, AC adapter, HDMI cable, and Joy-Con straps.

Three Different Gameplay Modes

The Switch can be played in TV Mode, Handheld Mode, and Tabletop Mode.

Accessories

Nintendo will be releasing a hand of accessories that are:

Joy-Con Controllers have Motion Sensors and Much More

These controllers will have motion detection and “HD Rumble” for even more precise force feedback. The left Joy-Con will have an NFC reader while the right Joy-Con will have a capture button that will be used to share screenshots and video with social media.

Online Play

The Switch will have online services available for free at launch but it will be switched to a paid service in Fall of 2017. Price is unkown.

Specs

The Screen on the Switch is 6.2 inches, has multitouch capabilities, has a resolution of 720p and when it is docked it will go up to 1080p. It will come with 32GB of internal storage but it can be upgraded more with the use of a microSD.
