My extremely subjective take on every PokΓ©mon and if it's cute or not. (While I do have a bachelor's degree in design, like all matters of taste, in the end "cuteness is in the eye of the beholder.") I will attempt to justify my decision based on design elements.
#191. Sunkern
Verdict: Cute
This little sunflower seed is another very round PokΓ©mon, broken up by the sprout on its head. How the stripes on its body continue up past its eyes to look like glam, luscious eyelashes adds to its appeal. I read somewhere a comic that Sunkern is constantly practicing its smile for when it evolves. It was an unofficial comic, but it feels canonical and makes Sunkern even more endearing.
