Absolutely popping the fuck off for the ending of this ep
Anime of the season honestly, really nice show with some stellar and heartwarming character writing and great arcs across the cast, with some of the year's most expressive character animation to boot. 8/10 isn't a crazy high score for a show to be called anime of the season for, although it is honestly a bit of a weak season so. But hey still a good score and still one I'd say the show earned. Also nice seeing an original show stay consistently strong for its entire runtime. Anan Furuya is a really great seiyuu and for this being his first named role and in a lead character at that, he killed it - can't wait to see him get more roles in the future.
