omg i just remembered the apocalypse au u wrote w roxy, bc i was thinking about how u pull scenes from ur irl experiences and how it makes your writing feel that much more alive and it reminded me of the learning to drive scene from 17 hours and MANNN talk about an underrated bee fic

i remember excitedly telling my friend that ROXY and BEE were writing a COLLAB !!! dude i was so fucking excited, my two fav fic authors?? collabing??? wtf?!?!?
and i also saw that youd be writing crimeboys and i was like FUCK YEAHHH I LOVE BEE'S CRIMEBOYS and then it was them fighting the entire time and i cried /j /lh
at least i got sandduo out of it LMFAOO

YESSS 17 HOURS MY BELOVED!! thank you thank you I also think it's an underrated one. roxy did such an incredible job with their half of things and I had so much fun writing my half.
the format was really cool to work out, and I remember when roxy and I first started a shared google doc for it and we decided to parallel the POVs in certain ways and it just started flowing so easily. roxy is just a fantastic writer and we had so much fun working on that fic together. the idea was literally pulled from me talking in a discord server about my dad calling me to remind me of our 'get the fuck out of dodge' plan in case things went to shit (this was when the ukranian war had just begun so my dad was paranoid about nukes), and I was joking about how the plan basically involves a post apocalyptic road trip. roxy brought up how that could be an interesting fic premise and suggested a collab, and things just sparked from there
ok crimeboys fought the entire time but they also had a lot of brotherly moments too so it wasn't all sad :( but ayyy sandduo. and then you get the sheer perfection of roxy's aeduo half. those two were having the worst time ever everything went wrong for them
