hi, sweet friends.

today i opened tumblr like i always do, and somehow there were over 6,000 of you here.

that number feels so strange to type because this blog never really started with a plan to become "big." i just wanted a tiny place to collect beautiful things. thoughts that kept me awake. playlists. little reminders. guides i wished someone had written for me. corners of the internet that still felt soft.

and somehow you all found me.

whether you've been here since my earliest posts or you stumbled across this blog yesterday, thank you for staying. thank you for reading. thank you for reblogging the things i make and leaving kind tags that i secretly read over and over again. thank you for letting glowettee become part of your daily scroll.

it's funny because behind every post is just... me.

usually sitting at my desk with too many tabs open, rewriting the same sentence five times because i want it to feel right. making graphics that probably took longer than they should have. collecting ideas in my notes app at random hours because i suddenly remembered something i wanted to share with you.

sometimes i wonder if anyone actually enjoys the things i spend hours making.

and then i see your messages.

your asks.

your reblogs.

your comments saying something helped you.

and i remember why i started.

i've always wanted glowettee to feel less like a content page and more like a girl's room you can visit whenever life feels overwhelming. somewhere you leave feeling a little lighter, a little more inspired, or at least with one new idea to carry into tomorrow.

we're still only getting started.

there are so many more guides i want to write. more digital products i'm creating behind the scenes. more strange little observations. more whimsical collections. more late-night essays. more projects i've been quietly dreaming about for months.

i hope you'll stay for all of it.

6,000 people is impossible for my brain to picture, but i don't really think of you as a number anyway.

i think of you as thousands of girls, dreamers, artists, students, writers, and quiet internet souls reading these words from bedrooms, libraries, cafés, dorm rooms, buses, and little moments in between.

that's really special.

thank you for making this tiny corner of the internet feel like home.

My Rules!!

never lie to papa

listen to papa, he usually knows best

at LEAST 2 'babas o wawa' a day

try to show papa your outfit for the day even if you're staying home

clean your room every week (unless im not doing well)

shower every other day

teeth must be brushed before bed, try your best in the morning!

be in bed by 12:00 and try to be asleep by 12:30

try to wake up by 10:00 am

make sure to carry hand sanitizer and wear a mask (i get sick easy!!)

let papa know whats for breakfast/lunch/dinner

wear goodnites as often as possible, try to wear diapers on weekends

try to dress in babytime clothes as much as you can

write a reflection in your diary every night

color a picture at least once a day and show papa

do at least 1 page from each of your school workbooks

keep your binkie and teether near by if you can

bring a stuffie friend with you when you leave the house

make sure to tell papa about who you're talking with if you start to feel unsafe

tell papa about how your feeling everyday, he wants to make sure you're happy!!

in appropriate situations, papa's name is papa and nothing else

no yelling, biting, or throwing toys (without permission)

no sass

tell papa when you need to potty when he's home

no humping/touching without permission when papa is home

diaper checks are at papa's discretion
