This song feels like another drowsy and hazy dream but you’re still conscious. Like one of those dreams you have that feel like memories. His vocals feels like the most raw here even still having an effect over them and it sounds so soft yet still hypnotizing.

It’s like he’s singing a lullaby to himself or someone else. While someone in the other room is playing on the electric guitar trying not to disturb anyone so they probably have their headphones on which makes his song mumbly around the end of the track. It’s comforting and a bit mellow and very relaxing to listen to after a long day.

Also I was confused because i knew parliaments where a brand of cigarettes but it's also the UK's highest legislature so i doubt its that one but he is around the brits a lot so who knows? but it makes sense that its just the brand of cigarettes to me cause then he says get my friends, from the end, keep us together which is a really sad line knowing what the songs about.

I've read that this song is about before and after stranger things era and i see that with the punch of it's stranger than I thought. I feel like this is the start of what we'll here a lot from Djo which is his fear of being authentic, grounded, and real and this case it's specifically his friends from and not fromPost Animal and his family.

But towards the end of the song he accepts that things will be different, he will be seen different from everyone who knows him in real life, those who only see him on the screen, and those that do see him on a stage with a wig and sunglasses.

Overall it's bittersweet and a lovely track.
