Looking for a fic I read well over a year ago, maybe 2023, completed on AO3. It was probably a really long one, but all I remember clearly is that Steve and Eddie start hanging out after s2 (I'm pretty sure before s3 but not 100%) and the only specific bit, maybe one chapter in the middle, I recall is Eddie wants to break into Hawkins lab for funsies and Steve kinda freaks out and they fight about it. Eddie doesn't actually break into the lab but I think he goes to look at it? He regrets blowing up at Steve, and Steve is running around looking for him? Maybe? Anyway, they find each other and make up and I have no idea what happens in the rest of the story. I've been thinking about this one for daaays!
