The music video for ONE IN A MILLION made itโs TV debut on TV January 5th, 1997. During the course of its run the video became the seventh most played video on MTV for the week ending on February 23, 1997.
It was not confirmed (that I am aware of) that Aaliyah and music director Paul Hunter used the same set or if it was just a coincidence and that they were inspired by the movie for a similar look and feel. Most likely it was all inspiration to recreate the same set.

It also has the best ending since the "12 Monkeys" (2015).
