Woop time for another update.
Soo life has been super crazy for me. It’s hard to believe that it’s only been 3 weeks since I got accepted into school, it’s definitely felt like it’s been like 2 months. I’ve just been super busy with getting everything ready for that, dealing with work and school. I had Thanksgiving at a coworkers house, which was a really good time, and which I am grateful for. I did get sick the past couple of days, though, with some kind of stomach bug. But it’s since passed.
Besides being busy, I’ve also been having a lot of life lessons coming around. A lot of old memories, thoughts, and people have been resurfacing, for me to learn from and prepare for. Also, things have been lining up and I’m starting to see more and more synchronicities as I start falling into Flow. It’s always nice when you have the feeling that everything is working out exactly as it should wash over you.
Because I’ve been pretty busy with life, my spiritual side has actually been a tad bit more inactive. I’ve noticed that when I’m learning life lessons, or growing emotionally and spiritually, my guides don’t talk to me as much. I’ve talked to them about this, they like to sit back when they know that I don’t need their help, which honestly I’m totally fine with. I’ve been checking in on all of my spirits, and they’re all doing well.
Hmm I guess I could talk about The Twins for a moment. The Twins are two sister oak trees at my work, who stand tall and strong right next to each other. I see them nearly every day, and we talk quite a bit. They are super bubbly and warm, and they always greet me with a hug in the mornings.
It’s been interesting watching them as the seasons changed. As it began to grow colder, they commented on that, and about how it was getting cold, and that they needed to shed their leaves to stay warm. Now that their branches are bare, they don’t really comment on the cold anymore.
I always wondered if deciduous trees, like the spirits of them, hibernate as they lose their leaves in the winter. I’m not sure about all trees, but for the Twins at least, I don’t think that they will?? They seem to still be alive and active; however, I am able to sense that as we near the solstice, their energy gets lower and lower, as does mine. Very interesting.
In other news, I just got back from acupuncture. It was a really good time. My acupuncturist and I have developed a really good relationship; we spent have of my session just shooting the shit about school, and just Chinese medicine in general. Every time that we meet, he becomes more open with me, and I learn more and more about TCM and Qigong. Plus, I get my monthly acupuncture. I am very grateful.
Anyways, today as he was putting in the needles, I felt him pulling my Qi up my legs and into my abdomen. I mentioned this, and I think he was impressed. We talked about that a little bit, and then he gave me some new Qigong to practice before leaving me on the table to cook. My Qi was moving quite a bit, and it was a very strong experience; if I’m ever doubting my path or my experiences, I can always count on acupuncture to pull me back because the sensations are undeniable.
But it might seem kind of small, but the fact that I was able to feel him moving my Qi around is a very big deal. It means that I’ve grown stronger, and that I’ve also become more sensitive to energy, and to Qi. It is a sign of growth.
Welp, that’s it for now. Things are only going to get busier for me, as I’m going to go back home soon for the holidays. That will be very interesting, but I’ll save that for another time.
Blessings!
