and I swear my words have fallen out of rhyme out of time fallen out of reach out of speech and I get farther away every single day from who I was last year and maybe, my dear thats for the best because maybe then I'll get my rest and you can say I'm wicked because I've never been all that rigid I don't believe in the rules they gave me or when they think they can save me but goddamn I believe in you and whatever is too magical to be true because a little faith never hurt anyone because a little mystery is what makes it fun and I can't pretend the pain isn't there but in some ways it's made me happier because every broken bone grows back stronger I don't know if I can take this much longer but I know I have someone's hand to hold when my heart and limbs get too cold and when everything is out of sight damn it I'll be my own light and when all these truths align you can't help but feel resigned to this idea that while everything is bad it's too damn good to be sad and that might be contradictory but so is every good story and humans are complex built on instincts and intellect and there's not much we can't do but what we can't, we'll find a way to and now I'll try so hard to make you see that damn it there's nothing wrong with me. when all is said and done and all the seams have run you begin to feel a resolution amidst of all the confusion because when you have nothing to lose you've got a lot more options to choose and all those big bad's never measure up to this particular sad and I don't know if it's good and I don't know if I'm reacting as I should but happiness comes in the strangest shapes and fate often misbehaves so when all is said and done what does it matter if I take a moment just to have a little fun.
