This isn’t my normal Halozy fare, as I’m normally more a fan of their calmer arranges, with Emrau on vocals. However, I wanted to post something light today, and this is a good excuse to post some Seiga. 

Desire Drive is outright one of my favorite themes in Touhou, and Seiga has a really nice character design. I haven’t always been fond of her and her theme, but about a year ago, I came to start appreciating them. I have no idea why I didn’t enjoy Desire Drive before, but something about the chorus-y bit really gets to me.

And for a nice, light song, this still manages to sneak in a couple wubs, and they turn out really nicely! This may not be my favorite arrange of Desire Drive (See:  Zenmaijikake no Kami wa Kaku Katariki), or my favorite Halozy arrange (Philosophy in a Cat), but it is still quite a nice arrange. 

This is probably a good point to talk about my outlook on this blog. I could post all of my favorite music and get all of the really good stuff out there all at once, but that would leave me nothing to look forward to talking about. I will continue to frequently reference some of my favorites, and they WILL get posted some day, but in the mean time, you’re better off doing some research and looking them up. I mean, not every song can be Personalizer (Noriko vocals AAAAAAA), but there’s a lot of /good/ music out there that I don’t exactly see as “great”.

Also, not everything here will be Touhou related. Eventually, I’ll get around to posting some Taishi, Nhato’s original works, maybe a bit of Les Friction, some things I’ve found through XKito’s youtube channel, and of course the inevitability that is MASA Design Works. Don’t look into that last one yet. Trust me on this. Take my word on that. This is not some sort of reverse psychology, really, don’t.  Know what, to quell curiosity, I’m posting Kitsune no Yomeiri tomorrow. The two of you that know what that is have been warned. MASA is best enjoyed with supervision and without lyrics.

I didn’t think that would hijack a paragraph and a half, but I guess that solves the “what to post” question for tomorrow.
