Lowww key Saturday morning meant an early trip to our local farmers market. I haven’t been all year and was happy to see that everyone is masked up and socially distanced. I went super early to avoid any “crowds” which worked perfectly. I think I only saw one other person there. It’s completely outdoors which also helps. Came home with $20 worth of handmade soaps which smell AMAZING (pumpkin spiced latte 😍), a tiny apple crumb pie, and pumpkin nut bread. Popped a slice of the pumpkin bread in the toaster oven when I got back. Magical.
I had planned on a continued low key morning/afternoon of crocheting and documentaries, which I did ultimately have, but which was temporarily interrupted by an emergency work call. Someone else dropped the ball on what should have been their responsibility and I had to swoop in, otherwise this globally coordinated saturday test would have failed. Annoyed, but I let the appropriate people know & I’ll be happily taking a short day next week to “recoup my time”.
Speaking of documentaries: has anyone watched Tickled, which is on Hulu? It’s supposed to be about “competitive endurance tickling” but ends up being about way more. It was worth the 90 minute investment. @belovedgoofball it might be up your alley, if you’re looking for something different to watch. Not exactly your typical true crime doc, but interesting nonetheless.
Now B and I are deep into a couple episodes of jeopardy & enjoying a relaxing evening at home. All in all not a bad day!
