#100daysofwhatever

- I (mostly) ran 2.8 miles!

- Making mindful healthy decisions on whether I need more sleep or need to drag myself to yoga (answer: sleep, and feeling the instant release of the right decision)

- Washing couch cushion, absolutely scrubbing and washing ALL of the grime out of my memory foam bath rug. Feels so good.

- Unexpected 16 Handles and drink date with friend. Good to gab about job searching and old colleagues.

- Meeting the most adorable 11 week old black lab. She just wanted to play with me, and sat on the sidewalk staring after me after I left!

- Day 3 of yoga in a row. I already feeling stronger and more balanced. This resting my ankle business was bullshit.

- Perfecting the amount of smoothie ingredients to fill my cup perfectly to the brim. It's the little things!

- Honestly, hugs in bed. I'm a cheezball.

- Meeting new friends from England and learn how "a wink is as good as a nod"

- The inexplicable hilarity of Yo and never tiring of head jokes about beer

- Watching a red balloon float up past our 6th floor window as the yoga teacher asked us to sit tall like a swaying blade of grass

- Surprise dinner at party where I thought I was going to only subsist on chips and beer

- Perhaps new way of managing HINP?

- farm fresh tomatoes -- so delicious and smelling like real FOOD I must have eaten 50 of them

- Uptown train friends

- 75 degrees with a slight breeze beginning to signal the settling of summer

These are going to be a bit short of pictures as I fix my phone (again).

- First yoga class in 6 months. Exercise feels good!

- Rediscovering the benefits of meditation for my mental health. Just shut the hell up and concentrate on what’s going on right now for a second, brain.

- Girlfriends there to tell you why maybe you shouldn’t say that thought that’s on your mind. Sanity nets.

- Bought more fruit for healthy breakfasts, and lots of soy/almond milk base

- Eating healthy chicken and veggies. Yum!

- frolicking in the Hudson at its narrowest point. So clear. Funny to think I might be washing its own residue off tonight with itself! Or waving at it from my window, at the very least. There’s no way I won’t beat those molecules of water home.

- Got lost in the funny wisdom of my book. Finishing a book over a vacation is so satisfying.

- sun-warmed deck beneath my feet

- Picking up "Inner Simplicity" and some nice ideas for simplifying my life

Let’s try this again.

Having dialogue when both parties are hurt, developing new dynamics.

Enjoying the 80 degree day with a breeze. Almost southern Californian.

Scrambled eggs did not stick to pan at all! Barely any clean up.
